Cool camera, but not very waterproof

I bought this camera to use to shoot kids swimming in the pool. Well, the first time I used this camera, after about an hour in the pool, I noticed that the lens was fogging from the INSIDE! The videos that I took up until that point were great. It may be more “water resistant” than “water proof.” Either way, I’m taking it back to the store today.

no indication you are recording can’t see screen in daylight, short battery life

I bought this camera because I thought it would hold up
first you can not see the screen to tell if you are recording and the battery only lasts less than 5 minuets

I have taken this thing in the ever murky water of the south Carolina coast and a college swimming pool. I have taken it to a maximum depth of 13 feet, but plan to take it a little deeper since i purchased the no-questions-asked fix or replace warranty. (score!) the thing has worked great so far, but the poor zoom capability is somewhat disheartening. also, 720p mode looks like 480p and 480p looks like crap on this thing. but as for bang for the buck, this camera is awesome. 4 stars.
